What ever the season, travel in climate controlled comfort on one of the two enclosed decks or feel the wind in your hair and the desert sun on your face up top on the open promenade deck. There will be approximately 1 1/2 hours to observe and take pictures of Hoover Dam with plenty of time to take the Power Plant Tour. The Power Plant tour takes you down in the dam elevator to the power plant of the dam, the Generator Room. In addition to lectured presentation by professional guides, you will have access to the Exhibit Hall, Visitor's Center, the indoor and outdoor observation decks, a 10 minute movie of the dam's original construction and a trip to the generator room via one of the dam's elevators. Bonus stop at Ethel M’s Chocolate Factory and Botanical Gardens.
