More Details: This is a horseback ride that will really make you say “Wow!”—and not just because it’s in the name. This horseback ride is the longest we offer, giving you the maximum time for enjoying the southwestern desert landscape. We will transport you from your hotel to the camp, where you will get acquainted with your horse. Experienced guides will lead you into a nearby canyon. The trail becomes steeper and the canyon close in, forming a passage between vertical sandstone walls that extends up to the top of the ridge high above. The terrain is more challenging, but the views are worth the effort. We will stop several times for photo opportunities. There is also a stop for lunch, which consists of roast beef, ham or turkey sandwiches, drinks and other snacks. Lunch is served on top of a ridge where you can see Las Vegas and Lake Mead in the distance. The trail continues along the cliff edge and leads to the remains of an old mining road. You will return to camp by mid-afternoon. The ride, which is approximately 5 hours long, requires a lot of stamina, but the trail will leave you with endless memories.
